Keep it Clashy

For many, a neat and ordered life is just the thing. But we fear these people are missing out on true happiness. After all, a few curveballs make life more exciting. And when it comes to home decorating, they miss out on the deep and existential satisfaction that comes only when random and unexpected things come together and click, when things that shouldn’t work somehow do. It’s never too late. Come to Urban Outfitters and learn how to keep it clashy.

A Clash Act

Collage art is a vibrant mess, a beautiful jumble, a clash act. Urban Outfitters will host an online digital collage competition for amateur artists. The work must be original, vertical in orientation, and, of course, have a touch of the surreal. Top prize will be a $2500 gift certificate to Urban Outfitters. The top 5 works will be sold as signed posters in Urban Outfitters Stores with the artists receiving half the proceeds.

A Master Class in Mixology

If you’re not a digital artist, you can still learn how to keep it clashy at home in a series of workshops hosted by Betsey Johnson for Urban Outfitters. Betsey will use Urban Outfitters products in each class to teach you how to become a master mixologist and the envy of the block.

Best in Clash

If you don’t have time for our workshops, you can still enter the Urban Outfitters “Best in Clash” raffle. Registration will be online for those aged 18-25 and three winners will be chosen at random for a free bedroom makeover by Urban Outfitters. Time lapse photography will be used to document the makeover so it can be posted online.

Clashy Category Launch

Urban Outfitters will team with AirBnb to make a “Clashy” Category. UO will find those properties that demonstrate the best in clash so you can be at home with the unexpected.

Everything Goes

Using Virtual Reality devices and smart phones, Urban Outfitters allows users to see the world through a unique lens and explore landmarks in a new light. When nothing goes together, everything does.
